MODEL UNITED NATIONS

WHAT: Model United Nations is a club for students who would like to gain experience in debating and negotiating, get an introduction to the Geo-Political Process and International Law, and finally gain a broader world view.  Members of the club also attend two conferences a year, U of M Model United Nations and Mid-American Model United Nations.

WHO: All students (grades 9-12) are welcome to join Model United Nations.

WHEN:  See Mr. Cole for meeting schedule.

OFFICERS:  The Secretary-Generals are Vai Saucer and Kevin Ledbetter.

Why should a student join the Model United Nations?

·        Students will get experience in debating

·        Introduced to the Geo-Political Process

·        Will get a broader world view

·        Will get experience in negotiating

·        Introduction to International Law
