"Coming soon!  Cast Photos by the talented Elizabeth Kirian www.kirianstudio.com"

Book by George Abbott and Douglas Wallop, Music, and Lyrics by:

Richard Adler, and Jerry Ross.

The story is a modern retelling of the Faust legend set during the 1950’s in Washington, D.C., during a time when the New York Yankee’s dominated Major League Baseball. Joe Boyd sells his soul to the devil, Mr. Applegate, for "one good Long ball hitter" for his team, the Washington Senators. Mr. Applegate grants his wish, turning him into a 22 year old sports superstar who can hit, but must go back to his wife before 9 pm on the final game day if he doesn't want Mr. Applegate to get his soul.

Light, fast-paced and devilishly clever, DAMN YANKEES is a home-run hit whose all-American subject matter and irreverent sense of humor have brought many a sports fan into the theatre.

The musical is based on Wallop’s novel; The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant.

Damn Yankees is a fun-filled, rousing production with fabulous choreography by legend Bob Fosse. It ran for 1,019 performances in its original 1955 Broadway production.

DAMN YANKEE’S is presented by special arrangement with MUSICAL THEATER INTERNATIONAL, INC.

STUDENTS- SEE CALENDAR FOR IMPORTANT DATES!

Rehearsals will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays. Wednesday and Friday’s will be announced TBD, if needed.

To continue giving the students the opportunity to participate in such high quality musical experiences, the Boosters are asking the community and individuals to help by sponsoring the production.  Sponsors receive recognition space in the programs for the three performances.
