I graduated St. Joe in 1989.
Joined the Marines where I was a Combat Engineer, Semper Fi. As a non-commissioned officer I learned that I really enjoyed teaching and that I was good at it.
I went to school at WMU, degree in Education/History (US, Asian) worked as a systems technician while going to school.
I have been a teacher since 1999.
My first year I taught at Croswell-Lexington High School.
I have been at St. Joseph High School ever since.
I have been married since 1992, I have 3 bright kids (from left to right Andrew, Adam, Abbey) and a lovely and talented wife, Amy.
My favorite author is Robert A. Heinlein, one of the grand masters of hard science fiction. Stranger in a Strange Land is my favorite book by him.
One of my favorite time periods to study is the Progressive Era.
