Thank you for visiting my school web page. I have been working at SJHS since 1992, following 5 years at Gateway HS in Kissimmee, FL, and 2 years at St. Robert School in Flushing, MI. I have been married since 1986, and have two daughters who have progressed through the St. Joseph Public Schools.
At SJHS, I am also the head coach of the successful Men's and Women's varsity swim teams, and assistant varsity softball coach. In the recent past (12 years), I served as the co-chair (with Jim Berry) for the North Central Association (NCA) school improvement teams to keep the HS accreditation for curricula and school environment. I also teach Anatomy at Lake Michigan College as an adjunct professor, and have certified my high school anatomy course as a direct credit college course through LMC.
I strive to challenge each and every student to work above their potential in my class, and help them develop as both a student and a person. I hope that your child has a challenging and successful experience in my classes.
