A Bit About Me
The 2011-2012 school year marks my 8th year as a teacher in St. Joseph. I feel fortunate to have a great job and great people to do it with. I graduated from SJHS in 1997, so I have a great handle on how long it actually does take to walk from class to class! Though, with the construction this year I'm sure we'll have some adjustments to make.
After high school I attended Michigan State University and in 2002 graduated with a Bachelors in Science (a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry). I subsequently completed a full year of student teaching to earn my teaching certificate. In May of 2009 I earned my Master's Degree in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis funded entirely through a National Science Foundation grant.
