It is a great day to be a BEAR! Welcome to my high school website. I am in my 4th year at SJHS. I was born and raised in St. Joseph and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1989. After high school I attended the University of Notre Dame where I played baseball earning All-American honors. After college I played professional baseball for the Detroit Tigers. After retiring from professional baseball, I started my teaching and coaching career in Florida. I taught high school math for over 8 years in Florida while coaching college and high school baseball. Before coming to SJHS, I was the baseball coach at Lake Michigan College where I also taught PE and Math at the college.
I have a wife Caroline, who teaches in the district at E.P. Clarke Elementary and a daughter Hannah, who is in 10th grade at St. Joe High School. We have a dog named Kenai.
