Mission Statement: "We will prepare today’s child to meet tomorrow’s challenges." |
Hello and Welcome to Brown School!
My name is Craig Hubble and I am the principal of this fine school. I have been with the St. Joseph Public Schools for 14 years and during that time have worked as a principal and curriculum director. Prior to coming to St. Joe, I lived in the Kalamazoo area and worked as a teacher and administrator in a few public school districts. I also spent 3 years working as a research center director at Western Michigan University. My experience in education is vast and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
In addition to my work with SJPS, I also serve on several state level committees and am the Past-President of the Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association. I am also proud to volunteer my time as a board member for Lory's Place, a children's grieving center operated by Hospice at Home/Lakeland.
My family and I enjoy all the wonderful things that St. Joe has to offer. We spend time at the lake, my children are involved in many community and school activities, and my wife and I benefit from the great school system and all the other amenities that go along with living in St. Joe.
