Welcome and thank you for visiting my website at E.P Clarke
Elementary. It has been my privilege to work with youth since 1984.
I have resided in St. Joseph since 1989. I have a wife and three boys.
Here is a view of my educational background:
I received a master's degree in physical education pedagogy from
Western Michigan University in 1995. I received my bachelor's degree
with a double major in physical education and business administration
from Hope College in 1985. I also have had course work in
adaptive physical education during my time at Hope College.
I have taught elementary physical education in the St. Joseph
Public School District since 2000. Previous to that I taught elementary
physical education at Coloma Community Schools in Coloma, Michigan for
eight years. Before this I worked as a program director for the YMCA in Grand
Rapids and Bay City, Michigan for four years where I worked extensively
with youth and adult programming, and was coordinator for strength
conditioning.
I have also coached high school and middle school football, wrestling, basketball, and track at various times since 1984.
It
is my love and joy to work with today's youth to enhance and develop
their physical skills and envelop an enthusiasm for fitness.
I
look forward to working with your child through their years at E.P Clarke
Elementary. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to
call or e-mail me.
