What's the Buzz!
Welcome to first grade! I am Mrs. Churchill your Queen Bee this year. I live here in St. Joseph with my husband and three boys. Collin is a Junior at the high school. He is on the football team so look for him at the games on Friday nights. Jack is an eighth grader at Upton. He also plays football. Joe is my youngest and is in second grade here at E.P. Clarke.
I am so lucky to have you as one of my worker bees this year. Wait until you see our classroom. We have new carpet, desks, chairs, walls, ceiling, and a new fun whiteboard. It looks beautiful! Our new desks look like little tables. They can be easily pushed aside to do fun things on our floor. But they do not lift up to store things in, so all of the supplies you bring in will be used for the whole class. You will not need to label anything with your name except your art shirt and gym shoes. We have new cubbies to hang all of our coats and backpacks in. They are kind of skinny so please do not bring a backpack with wheels because it will not fit.
I can't wait to see all of you at the ice cream social on August 31st. Look for the tent with the bees and buzz on over to see me!
