St. Joseph, MI – On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, St. Joseph Public Schools voters approved the district’s 2025 bond proposal. With this support, St. Joseph Public Schools is able to facilitate districtwide improvements including updates to infrastructure, safety and security, and educational environments at all buildings. 

“The approval of this bond is a testament to the community’s commitment to their public schools. Further, it is evidence of the investment in the future of St. Joseph Public Schools and in our community,” said Kristen Bawks, Superintendent of St. Joseph Public Schools.

Districtwide improvements will begin immediately and will continue over the next four years. SJPS is committed to keeping the community updated on project progress through the district website, sjschools.org
