The SJPS Interact Club was excited and honored to receive a grant to help fund their next community service project of installing inclusive playground equipment at Brown Elementary School! The Interact Clubs are looking forward to breaking ground this Spring.

The JoeBots Robotics teams from Upon Middle School competed this past weekend in at the Big Rapids Qualifier for First Tech Challenge Robotics. There was a field of 36 teams at the event and all 3 teams made it to the Semi Finals!
JoeBots White and Blue ended the completion in 3rd place, and Maize achieved 2nd place.
All 3 teams won a judged award separate from their competition, and all 3 teams will head to the State Competition this Friday and Saturday to compete as part of a field of 72 teams. Go JoeBots!

SJPS is committed to ensuring safe and secure environments for every student. The 2025 bond proposal includes improvements that address long-standing safety concerns and accessibility needs. Proposed projects include improving traffic flow, replacing exterior doors, replacing safety barriers, installing window glazing, and updating spaces for ADA compliance to support student well-being and equitable access.
