Student attendance on Count Day is especially important, as it is one of only two days during the school year when attendance is used to help determine the amount of state aid schools receive.

January 19 - Monday (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
No school for students
January 20 - Tuesday (Full Day of School)
Exam Periods 5 & 6, in the morning
In the afternoon students will attend shortened classes 1st - 6th hours

Congratulations to our talented Upton artists who have earned Scholastic Arts Competition Awards. The Scholastic Arts Competition is the nation's longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens.
Violet (Gold Key Painting) This painting of a whale will now be judged on the national level. If it is accepted by the judges, it will be displayed at Carnegie Hall.
